I swear I have seen this specific game years ago. The first game, I can specifically remember wayne getting cheesed by applejuice and wayne shutting it down with mass hydras. I can't really remember the second game but the third game I can remember too. Am I right or am I tripping?

I think the other new SC2 type games are not going to make it.. by that I mean that their esport scenes will not develop. Maybe Battle aces could do it.. not sure yet.

love watching matches in this mod. it just adds a lot of fresh stuff to the game, not to mention that there's so many new possible matchups including the generation-mirror matchups. I just like seeing some sort of meta evolving around just 3 extra races being introduced

That mass SC1 zergling flood is what all BW players dreamed of lol. 1a2a3a4a5a6a7a. But Dark really overestimates SC1 Ultras. If you're going lings all the way to hive, there's no reason to not at least make a few defilers before your ultras.

wish folks would just play sc1 v sc1 in the mod. I find those the most interesting.

I am worried for my own interest in RTS esports as this I cannot see myself enjoying this but I can see it becoming massively popular. I actually think this would be more fun if they went full Hearthstone and added even more randomness. As it is now I'd be surprised if most series don't get decided based on picking the right deck.

Can't wait for more spectator tools to help you tell the story. Seeing income dip when workers die really helps give an idea of how impactful good moves are, right now it's like "they got three workers! yay? I think?" Also hope they reduce the amount of dynamic color on each unit, I think that's why the units all end up feeling very "same," despite having very diverse silhouettes, the large amount of team color on each unit can kinda turn them into red and green Christmas blobs.

Please continue to cover this game. I can't really to try it out in the beta. The Starcraft "purists" will come around eventually.

The SC2 players just need to have more playtime with the BW races before you can claim one is better than the other. These games never used the BW Queens, Defilers, Battlecruisers, Arbiters, and who knows what else, nor the full capabilities of all the units.

I think mass firebat could help tremendously against locusts. Everyone thinks firebats are terrible and refuse to build them, but they have a use, owning large numbers of squishy units.

it looks terrible and childish/unserious in both artstyle and graphics. starcraft 2 is way superior and its a game from a decade ago. not interest in playing a anime game

Hmmm...I dunno. I'm trying to withhold judgement, as being fun to play matters more than anything. But my first impressions are honestly a bit...meh. As I said elsewhere the base-building just seems like a stripped down, less interesting version of what Battle for Middle Earth did twenty years ago, while it doesn't have the same strong aesthetic and character to draw me in.

What type of match is this??? Please answer. I want to watch more. Is it new?

I never realized it before but SC1 terran units are entirely made up of fans and cogs, at least according to the supply depots.

I've watched something like 20 of these games and it's the first time Ive seen anyone actually build firebats
